Against the Light of Others

“Destroyed by the animal beings. Left wing and Anglican poetries. Language poets. Academies. Prizes. The street is my only friend. All I can see is the anger of money. Nothing else. The faces around a fire. A nowhere. A closing of doors. A burn.”
“Against the Light of Others” is a solo work that aims to capture, through the visitation of an angel, a historical moment of global and personal conflict. It is seen from the position of a singular body in the West, and from the city as a layered site of complicit injustices, temporalities, stories and bodies.
