NICK HACKWORTH
Nick is a writer, curator, and art advisor with a background spanning contemporary art, cultural criticism, and social impact. Educated at Central Saint Martins, the University of Oxford, and the Courtauld Institute of Art, he is currently completing an MSc in Sustainability and Behaviour Change at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales. Formerly Contemporary Art Critic at The Evening Standard and Art Editor at Dazed & Confused, he has contributed to numerous publications and advised the Government Art Collection and Quintessentially.
He founded Paradise Row gallery in 2006, later relaunching it in 2021 as Paradise Row Projects, a non-profit curatorial initiative supporting social and environmental causes through art. Nick is also the founding Director of Modern Forms, a private collection and curatorial platform supporting artists and institutions globally, and an art advisor to Floreat Group. His collaborative projects include Credit (with Central Saint Martins), Ka’a Body, an international Indigenous art exhibition, and AmazoniAlerta, an NGO defending Indigenous rights and the Amazon rainforest.
